How To Style Brodie Sustainable Cashmere

How To Style Our SS23 Collection

To celebrate the launch of our SS23 collection online, we wanted to share with you the trends that pulled this exciting collection together and our top tips for styling.

Bright Neon

Nothing lifts the mood quite like a painterly palette of colour and our SS23 collection has a combination of neon prints that are sure to put a spring in your step. Neon has become a huge craze with celebrities such as Hailey Bieber and Ashley Graham opting for head-to-toe neon.

How to style neon

The strong and bright colour makes neon fun and easy to style. If you are just beginning to experiment with neon, we recommend starting with one colour at a time and let it really stand out on its own. Pairing neon colours with neutral shades such as white, brown and black is a great way to give your outfit that subtle infusion of colour. A neon Brodie knit is a signature outfit here at Brodie HQ, it can be dressed down with trainers or up with colour pop heels.

If you are looking for a brighter and more energetic outfit, try pairing your neon with another strong colour. Working neon pink with red for example will give you a strong but sophisticated look.

Colourful Pointelle

Pointelle is a key trend that our designers explored for SS23. Our team created designs that evoke feelings of happiness and for this we chose colourful pointelle. Our Open Pointelle Long Cardigan features soft pastel colours and with our matching neon short version you will instantly be transported to a hot island feeling the sand in between your toes.

Our team created designs that evoke feelings of happiness and inner calm within our serene pastel infused pointelle collection. Our Pointelle collection features muted pastel colours as well as vibrant neon options; with a signature v neck jumper at the heart of the collection. When we close our eyes we dare to dream of being transported to a remote beach location, with the sun warming our back and the sand tickling our toes. Escapism at its best!

How to style pointelle

Pointelle is extremely versatile to style! Whether you’re looking to tone it down for a casual walk around town or want to make a statement, pointelle is always a winning look no matter how you style it. If the vibe is a relaxed everyday look, we would style our Open Pointelle V Neck Jumper in blue mist with a straight leg denim jean or white jean, matched with an open toe shoe and blazer.

The Humble Slip On – Loungewear

Always conscious of our footprint in the environment, we have crafted loungewear that can be enjoyed for years to come. Dressing for home doesn’t have to be boring. Our designers have created a loungewear collection which marries fashion, luxury, comfort and elegance seamlessly. Our funky Rainbow Lava loungewear is a quickly becoming an iconic Brodie look that can effortlessly transition from an at home relaxed vibe to a statement fashion forward look fit for the runway.

How to style loungewear

Here at Brodie we think you can style loungewear for every eventuality. For a casual/edgy feel, wear our matching Rainbow Lava loungewear set and pair with a white chunky trainer. If you want to mix it up, and opt for a more sophisticated style, wear your classic Brodie Joggers together with an elegant blouse or fitted top and finish with an oversized blazer.

Feel Good Prints

For this season, we have seen a huge shift towards expressive and creative prints with designers using artistic techniques to give fabrics an exciting touch for spring / summer 2023. This season, our team played with mood-boosting designs including our infamous floral design.

How to style prints

To let your print take centre stage, we recommend selecting a single print piece and styling it with a solid colour. For example, team our cashmere Polly Floral Jumper with a natural colour such as white or black so the print is the main focus in your outfit. If you want to be more fearless with your styling, choose an outfit which combines different prints and colours. If you are worried that the prints or patterns in your outfit don’t match then opt for an outfit where the colours in your outfit do. Green and blues or yellow and lilacs make for a beautiful and bright pairing.
